  • Health information: Only where required to fulfill your travel booking (e.g., accessibility accommodations, vaccine documentation required by Suppliers or destination countries)

  • Emergency contact information: Name and phone number of your emergency contact

  • Group trip information: Names, contact details, and travel document information for other travelers in your group, provided by you on their behalf

  • Communications: Emails, messages, and other correspondence you send to us

  • To communicate with you: Sending booking confirmations, travel documents, payment reminders, pre-trip information, and responding to your inquiries

  • To send marketing communications: With your consent, sending newsletters, travel tips, destination updates, and promotional offers via Squarespace Email Campaigns. You may unsubscribe at any time.

  • To process payments: Transmitting payment authorizations to Tern or directly to Suppliers on your behalf

  • To comply with legal requirements: Fulfilling Seller of Travel obligations, responding to legal requests, and complying with applicable laws

  • To improve our services: Analyzing how our website and services are used to improve the client experience

  • For safety and security: Detecting and preventing fraud, chargebacks, or unauthorized activity

3. How We Share Your Information

DBL does not sell your personal information. We share your information only as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

a. Travel Suppliers

We share your personal information — including your name, date of birth, passport details, dietary and accessibility needs, and payment information — with hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, and other Suppliers as required to complete your booking. Each Supplier's own privacy policy governs their use of your data.

b. WorldVia Travel Group

As an independent affiliate of WorldVia Travel Group, we operate under their host agency umbrella. WorldVia may have access to booking records and Seller of Travel compliance information.

c. Tern Travel Technology

DBL uses Tern as its group travel management and payment platform. When you authorize a payment or receive a booking link through Tern, your payment and booking information is processed through Tern's platform. Tern's privacy policy governs their handling of your data.

d. Squarespace Email Campaigns

If you subscribe to DBL's newsletter or join a trip waitlist, your name and email address are stored and processed through Squarespace Email Campaigns for the purpose of sending you communications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

e. Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g., website hosting, email platforms, scheduling tools). These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it for the specific services they provide to us.
